Travelling with Your Puppy

If you plan on travelling frequently with your puppy, it is important to start while it is young. This will help get your puppy accustomed to riding in a car. Spend some time with your puppy in the car before getting on the road and calm them with praise and affection. The first couple trips in a vehicle are usually the ride home from your breeder and the trip to the vet. Take a few short trips to a park or friends and create a positive association with riding in a vehicle. Your puppy will reward you by becoming an excellent traveler for those future longer trips.
